F1 2027 holiday planner: school holidays, long weekends and family costs
Find the 2027 Grand Prix weekends that fit your school holidays and need the fewest days of leave. Tell us where you live and who's coming, and we work out the leave days, how many days away you get, and a rough cost for your whole group.

How it works
- Leave days are weekdays in the trip that aren't public holidays where you live. With "travel days" on, the trip runs from the day before the first day on track to the day after the race, the same dates as our cost estimates.
- Days away adds any weekends and public holidays that touch the trip. "Stretch it" suggests taking up to 3 extra days off when that buys at least 2 extra days away for each one.
- School holidays: "In school holidays" means the whole trip is in the school holidays; "No school days missed" means it only uses weekends, public holidays or school holidays. If you work in education, school holidays count as time off when we count your leave days (check your own admin and training days).
- Sources: public holidays come from the free Nager.Date API. School dates come from official education departments where they exist (South Africa, Australian states, New Zealand, the UAE, Ireland's standardised breaks, and the Dutch government's dates for regions Noord, Midden and Zuid). England and Scotland have no national calendar, so we use Kent County Council and Glasgow City Council as examples. US dates are typical breaks, not official. Child ticket prices are official where the circuit publishes them, with the source and date shown in the totals.
- Group costs are estimates: children's tickets are counted at the adult price unless a junior price is confirmed, child flights at about 75% and babies at about 10% of the adult fare, and families of up to four with young children in one family room (about 1.4× a standard room). Pet care uses kennel and cattery prices for South Africa and PaddockFare estimates elsewhere.
